Verrous /Objectifs
•
Comprendre interactions revêtement-microorganismes
•
Sérier les facteurs déterminant l’activité
antibactérienne
;
•
;
•
6
Selection of original nanocomposite coatings
•
Permanent bactericidal surfaces durability => inorganic coatings
•
Active coatings without UV irradiation;
•
Transparent
thin films appearance => very thin thicknesses
•
Multifunctionality => a minimum amount of active agent
•
Large scale deposition process => high throughput, low cost

Ageing was conducted in a climatic chamber under 2 conditions.
As-deposited coatings are bactericidal according to JIS standard test
and the
most efficient according to Haldar
method(9 at.% Cu).
A decrease of the efficiency was observed with ageing.The decrease is higher for the most severe condition.
The performance decrease is only 35% after 5 months
under RT/RH 40 % and the
activity is still 65 % without any cleaning of the surface => long term activity
Likely due to an oxidation of Cu particles on the surface (SEM, XRD).
