S&P sur le changement climatique (2016) :
We recognize that financial service providers have more-immediate and bigger concerns vying for theirattention. Issues such as regulation, low growth, and the negative interest rates being set in some regions couldhave significant medium-term effects. That said, we consider that climate change risk is only likely to grow in importance and its potentialimpact is likely to increase.
Review of the European Supervisory Authorities (septembre 2017) :
With regard to sustainable finance, the Commission has committed within the framework of the CMU initiative to strengthen the EU's leadership on sustainable investment and finance. New environmental, social and governance related risks and opportunities are changing the financial sector and require adaptations to the supervisory framework and approach. Moreover, the financial sector has a key role to play to ensure the transition to a low-carbonmore energy-efficient economy. A strong coordination and convergence of supervisoryattitudes towards sustainability is necessary at EU level. In this regard, this proposal isconsistent with the Energy Union Strategy, the EU's commitments to a Circular Economy and the Sustainable Development Goals.
