Purging Air from Hydraulic SystemNOTICE Air bubbles may become trapped occasionally inside

the hydraulic system, reducing its efficiency. Purge the air following the directions below.

NOTICE Oil can leak from the release valve (I) whilst purging air. Have a rag ready in case of any leakages.

• Without any weight on the jack, open the release valve (I) by making one full turn in a counter-clockwise direction.

• Remove the cover plate (C) to expose the oil plug (D).

• Pump the handle rapidly with 8 full strokes to push the air through the system.

• Use a flat screwdriver and slightly push the oil plug (D) to the side to purge trapped air.

• Securely close the release valve (I) in a clockwise direction.

• Refit the cover plate (C).

• Check for proper pump and lift action. Repeat the above steps until the air is fully purged.

Inspection• Visual inspection shall be made before each use of the product by

checking for abnormal conditions, such as cracked welds, leaks, and damaged, loose, or missing parts.

• The product shall be inspected immediately if the product is believed to have been subject to an abnormal load or shock. This inspection should be made by a manufacturer’s or supplier’s authorized repair facility.

• Inspect the work area as well. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.

OperationLifting up the vehicle

DANGER Risk of death! Never work on, around, or under a load supported only by the product. Use a pair of adequately rated jack stands.

• Engage the vehicle brake and block the wheels for better lift stability.

• Place the product at a 90º angle to the vehicle under the vehicle’s lift point. Position the product so the saddle (lift pad) (G) is centered and will contact the lift point firmly.

• Consult the vehicle’s owner manual if you are in doubt about the location of the lift points.

• Ensure the product is at a 90º angle to the vehicle and under the specified points for lifting.

• Close the release valve (I) by rotating it in a clockwise direction.

• Pump the handle until the saddle (lift pad) (G) is in close proximity to the lift point.

• Continue pumping until the vehicle is lifted to the desired height.

• Remove the actuating handle (A and H) from the handle receptacle (B).

• After lifting, support the load with appropriately rated jack stands (not provided).

NOTICE Operator must keep eyes on the product and load at all times during operation.

NOTICE If several jacks are used together, raise the vehicle on both sides with the same speed. Keep the same height on both sides.

NOTICE Always ensure that the load is stabilized or supported in such a way that it will not shift during lifting or lowering procedure.

NOTICE Never wire, clamp or otherwise disable the release valve (I) function. Use the handle (A) to ensure proper release valve (I) operation.

Lowering the vehicle DANGER Risk of death! Ensure there are no objects or persons

under the vehicle before lowering the vehicle.

• Pump the handle to raise the vehicle from the jack stand(s).

• Remove the jack stand(s).

• Use the handle (A) to slowly turn the release valve (I) in a counter-clockwise direction to lower the vehicle onto the ground.
