Préambule

Le contexte actuel du commerce équitable est caractérisé par un débat qui se poursuit entre les

partisans d’une vision strictement Nord-Sud du commerce équitable et les partisans d’une vision plus

universelle de cette pratique. Ceux-ci représentent les promoteurs d’un commerce équitable local, de

proximité, domestique, régional, territorial ou encore Nord-Nord et Sud-Sud. La question d’une

évolution vers un concept élargi du commerce équitable se pose toujours aujourd’hui (Ballet, Renard

& Carimentrand, 2012 ; Maréchal, 2016 ; Rolland, 2015).

Le commerce équitable contient une dimension internationale, il s’inscrit aussi dans un contexte de

développement durable. Il semble possible que son avenir passe par une vision plus universelle des

échanges qui mettrait l’accent sur la solidarité dans les relations économiques. Si les associations

entre le commerce équitable et le développement local ont déjà fait l’objet de plusieurs

manifestations scientifiques et projets de recherche, les expériences du commerce équitable local,

du fait de son caractère récent, reste un domaine encore largement à défricher pour les chercheurs.

Dans ce contexte, le thème choisi pour cette deuxième édition du colloque international FTSD19

correspond aux expériences locales du commerce équitable et s’inscrit dans la continuité de celui

de la précédente édition. En effet, la première édition de ce colloque avait porté sur la contribution

du commerce équitable au développement durable sous ses trois dimensions économique, sociale

et environnementale, dans des contextes différents.

Cette 2ème édition sera l’occasion de présenter des recherches et des études portant sur les

expériences du commerce équitable local susceptibles de renforcer les liens entre les chercheurs

scientifiques, les collectivités territoriales, les organisations du commerce équitable, les ONG du

développement et le secteur de l’économie sociale et solidaire.

En outre, ce colloque entend faire dialoguer ensemble des chercheurs, enseignants-chercheurs,

praticiens et professionnels qui travaillent sur les questions relatives au commerce équitable,

développement durable et autres champs connexes, à partir d’approches et de méthodologies

différentes (qualitatives, quantitatives...). Ce colloque se déroulera à Agadir, capitale du territoire de

l’arganier, reconnu comme première réserve de biosphère au Maroc depuis décembre 1998 par

l’UNESCO.

Axes Thématiques

Les intervenants de tous horizons (universitaires, institutionnels et opérateurs socio-économiques

nationaux et internationaux), sont invités à apporter leurs recherches et expériences à ce 2ème FTSD’19

selon les axes de réflexion ci-dessous. La liste des thèmes n'est pas exhaustive, le comité

d'organisation reste ouvert à toute proposition de communication enrichissant la thématique du

colloque.

Soumission et évaluation des communications

Soumettre un résumé de 500 mots accompagné de titre de la communication, des mots clefs et de

quelques références bibliographiques.

Les propositions seront soumises en français ou en anglais. Elles seront révisées en aveugle par deux

membres du comité.

Les décisions du comité scientifique pourront prendre les formes suivantes :

- acceptation sans modification,

- acceptation moyennant des modifications (mineures ou majeures)

- ou refus (rejet).

Les textes de communication acceptés par le comité Scientifique (seulement pour les auteurs inscrits

et présents au Congrès) seront publiés dans les actes du colloque international FTSD’19 avec ISBN

et distribués aux participants sous format papier.

Les articles sélectionnés feront l’objet d’une parution dans un ouvrage collectif et d’une publication

dans des revues scientifiques nationales et internationales.

Les propositions doivent respecter le format suivant :

Preamble

The current context of fair trade is characterized by an ongoing debate between those who support a

strictly North-South vision of fair trade and those who support a more universal vision of this practice.

They represent the promoters of a local, domestic, regional, territorial or North-North and South-

South fair trade. The question of an evolution towards a broader concept of fair trade still arises today

(Ballet, Renard & Carimentrand, 2012;Maréchal, 2016; Rolland, 2015).

Fair Trade has an international dimension and is part of a sustainable development context. It seems

possible that its future will require a more universal vision of trade that emphasizes solidarity in

economic relations. While the associations between fair trade and local development have already

been the subject of several scientific events and research projects, the experiences of local fair trade,

due to its recent nature, still remain an area largely to be explored by researchers.

In this context, the theme chosen for this second edition of the FTSD19 International Conference

corresponds to local experiences of Fair Trade and is in line with the one from the previous edition.

Indeed, the first edition of this conference focused on the contribution of Fair Trade to sustainable

development in its three dimensions: economic, social and environmental, in different contexts.

This second edition will be an opportunity to present researches and studies on local fair trade

experiences that can strengthen the links between scientific researchers, local authorities, Fair

Tradeorganizations, development NGOs, and then, the social and solidarity economy sector.

In addition, this symposium aims to bring together researchers, teacher-researchers, practitioners and

professionals working on issues related to Fair Trade, sustainable development and other related

fields, using different approaches and methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, etc.). This symposium

will take place in Agadir, capital of the Argan Tree territory, recognized as the first biosphere reserve

in Morocco since December 1998, by the UNESCO.

Thematic Axes

Speakersof various backgrounds (academics and national and international socio-economic

operators) are invited to contribute their research and experience to this 2nd FTSD'19 along with the

lines of reflection below. The list of themes is not exhaustive; the organizing committee remains open

to any communication proposal that enriches the theme of the conference.

Proposals must consist of: 500 words abstract, the title of the paper, the key words and few of the most supporting references.

Full texts can be submitted in French or English. And will be subject to anonymous evaluation by

blind revision.

Decisions of the scientific committee may take the following forms:

- Approval without modifications,

- Acceptance with modifications (total or partial),

- or refusal (rejection).

The accepted intentions (only of those registered and present at the Congress), following the Author’s

requirements, will be published on the proceedings book of the international symposium FTSD 19

with ISBN, and shall be distributed to the participants in paper format. Furthermore accepted texts

will result in a collective book and eventually will be nominated by the committee for publication in

several national and international scientific journals.
