radikal Mountain The best off-piste ski area in the French Alps, La Clusaz is organising the “La Clusaz Radikal Mountain” international freeride challenge for the second year running. Défi foly – 24th yearApril 28th and 29th

Over two days, the Défi Foly attracts more than 150 somewhat crazy sportsmen and women, who will attempt to cross the Confins Lake in La Clusaz. The event hosts two main competitions, the waterslide challenge and the Unidentified Sliding Objects (OGNI).

It can be recharged online as many times as you like, so that you don’t need to go to the ski pass office in resort. La Clusaz and Manigod are located on the north-west flank of the Aravis massif.This favourable position gives them a combined average snowfall of more than 6 metres at an altitude of 1,860 metres.

• The La Clusaz ski area extends over 4 massifs:Beauregard - Étale - Aiguille - Balme.

• The manigod ski area includes theLa Croix-Fry and Merdassier sectors.

These two connected areas comprise a total of 84 runs and 54 ski lifts, the tops of which reach up to an altitude of 2,600 metres,and provide 1,500 metres of descents, as well as breath-taking views of Mont Blanc.The La Clusaz and Manigod ski areas are connected to the Grand-Bornand ski area in the Aravis massif via special ski passes.
