To Member Banks in the Eighth Federal Reserve District:
Form 8H-711 titled "Memorandum of Reserve P os ition” has been revised to further a s s is t member banks in determining their reserve position on a current basis .
For this purpose, the revised form, several sample copies of which are enclosed, provides for daily and accumulative recordation of the following data:
Amount of required reserveAmount of currency and coin (vault
cash) allowable as part of required reserve
Amount of reserve carried with the Federal Reserve Bank
The revised form replaces present Form 8H-711 currently available to member banks for computing their daily reserve position. A supply of the revised form is available for your use and will be furnished promptly upon request.
