Developed an adsorption process for separating normal paraffin from kerosene stream by using CO2 as regeneration gas. This new technique extended the lifetime of zeolite 5A adsorbent by more than 4 times and greatly improved the plant economics. (Nanjing Refinery, 1988)

Improved an existing process for mercaptan removal from gasoline by using an activated carbon supported cobalt catalyst. The company awarded our team for successful developing and commercializing this process. (Nanjing Refinery, 1990)

Led a team to scale up a sol-gel and oil drop technique for making silica and binderless zeolite 5A adsorbent. Our development team received a 2nd Place “National Science Advance Award”. (Nanjing Refinery, 1991)
