Situation
• Pour éviter la rupture des AAA deux méthodes thérapeutiques sont actuellement proposées: la chirurgie ouverte, et le traitement par endoprothèse (EVAR).
• Quels sont les résultats immédiats et à long terme de chaque méthode ?

Conclusion
• Les résultats immédiats sont plutôt en faveur de l’EVAR, mais ils sont rapidement rejoints par les résultats de la chirurgie malgré un suivi plus intense et un taux de reprise considérable pour l’EVAR
