Respected Sir/Madam, I have applied for the post of Junior Conservation Assistant (ER 20617) of Selection Post Phase - V. Some of the selected candidates have not joined the post. User department Archaeological Survey of India said that they have sent the dossiers of Non Joining candidates to SSC ER & requested for nominating another candidate from Reserve List on 22nd April, 2019. I want to when the Reserve List will be published.


Insofar as the Commission is concerned in regard to the provision of Reserve List in the recruitment for Selection Posts, a procedure has been prescribed by the Commission to be followed strictly for operation of Reserve List. Reserve list is available when all the posts (of a particular category) are filled up and additional numbers of eligible candidates are available in the merit list. Reserve list contains candidates who are lower in the merit list than those selected and nominated to the User Department, but comes within the maximum size of Reserve List prescribed in the Guidelines of the Commission. The size of Reserve List maintained for a particular post and the particulars of candidates in the Reserve list are not made public for eliminating the chanceof malpractices due to disclosure of the same.
