about meMy name is Lorenzo Minischetti.I am an Italian American graphic designer.

I graduated in 20 13 in Industrial Design (Graphic Design major) at the Poli tecnico diBari (Italy), with a degree mark of 107 on 110. Previously, I obtained my High SchoolDiploma at Liceo Artistico De Nittis in Bari (Art School).

I am interested in manual and digital drawing on different materials; I love ty pography, call igraphy, proo f-reading, publ ishing, bookbinding, eco- design,packaging, illustration, photo editing, photoretouch, color theory, visual perception.

I have strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.

In 2010 I took part in Retype, a typography workshop with Giovanni Lussu.Between 2011 and 2 012 I joined Mani Cucite, a manual bookbinding workshop heldby Zabar.

In 2013 I took part in LETSPUBLISH, a workshop staged by Spazio 314, in Lecce(Italy). Part of the workshop (printing techniques and serigraphy) was held byAtelier Vostok, a graphic design studio from Milan and Barcelona created by AlexisRom and Claude Marzotto.

In November 2013 I moved to New York City and in January 2 014 I star ted workingfor the Creative Office of Century 21 Dept Stores in Manhattan as a graphic designintern.

From June to September 2014 I worked as Graphic Designer at QNY Creative, abranding agency.

In October 2014 I started freelancing with Evol Design Llc in New York.

calligraphyI really enjoy experiencing differentkind of calligraphy (Old English,Fraktur, Roundhand Copperplate,

Japanese) with a poin ted pen, a Pilotbrush, Tombow brush or (my favori te)a Fudenosuke hard-brush pen.

I enjoy digital calligraphy as well

making use of a graphic tablet.

I can proudly say that Im obsessedwith letters and I have a very sharp ty po-spotting sk ill .

I do digital calligraphy using t wodifferent methods:1. I draw on paper, scan the image, then I ret race it with Illust rator andcolor it with Photoshop2. I write completely in digital using

the Wacom Intuos pen tablet

extraBesides graphic design I studiedindustrial design.

In 2011 I designed a virtual model of asingle-frame plastic cake slicer.With a CAM 3D printer I had thechance to produce the ready-to-useABS plastic prototype.The utensil was surprisingly easy anduseful.

In 2012 I hand-made a clock lamp

using my old guitar, recycled stuff anda cheap alarm clock.

I play bass guitar and I love longmountain bike rides.
