Lundi  matin,   (Monday  morning)  le  roi,  la  reine  et  le  p’tit  prince   (the  King,  the  Queen  and  the  lil  Prince  sont  venus  chez  moi   (came  to  my  house)  pour  me  serrer  la  pince.   (to  shake  my  hand)colloquial  Mais  comme  j’étais  pas  là,   (But  since  I  wasn’t  there,)  Le  petit  prince  a  dit  :   (The  little  prince  said:)  Puisqu’il  est  parti    nous  reviendrons  mardi.  

Since  he  is  gone  we  will  come  back  Tuesday  

 Repeat  the  song  with  “mercredi”  (Wednesday),  “jeudi”  (Thursday),  “vendredi”  (Friday),  “samedi”  (Saturday),  dimanche  (Sunday).
