Adjectives usually go after the noun they describe in French

Philippe a une voiture américaine.Philippe has an American car.Sophie a des copains anglais.Sophie has English friends.Voici un livre intéressant.Here is an interesting book.J’ai des amies intelligentes.I have intelligent friends.

Some adjectives go before the noun: B.A.N.G.S.

B.A.G.S.:B= beauty (beau, belle, joli/e)A=age (jeune, vieux, vieille)N=number (plusieurs, quatre, onze)G=goodness (bon, bonne, mauvais)S=size (grand/e, petit/e)
