With the unique marriage of literature and interior design the Pavillon des Lettres explores the literary work of 26 world renowned authors by creating a unique hotel concept based around celebration of the written word. Designed by Didier Benderli as an alliance of the arts, combining literature, painting and sculpture to create a subtle dialogue between the different components. Interplay of colours and materials, a concept involving a setting of raw materials against silky and sensual materials in order to create physical sensations that complement the intellectual pleasure of reading. A few steps from the Champs-Elysees, the Pavillon des Lettres opens the doors of Paris fashion and trends to you. It is excellently located close to the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, symbol of haute couture and refinement and composed of art galleries, embassies and luxury shops.
