Résumé : La première partie de l’exposé consiste à définir la norme de la transformée de Fourier Lp, p ≥ 1 sur un groupe de Lie. Des résultats sur l’estimation de cette norme seront ensuite exposés dans le cadre de certaines extensions compactes de groupes résolubles et leurs revêtements universels.

Résumé : In this talk, I present some recent results on the null controllability for lin- ear heat equations with dynamic boundary conditions of surface diffusion type. The results are based on New developed Carleman estimates for these type of boundary conditions.

Résumé : In this talk we investigate the global asymptotic and the exponential stability of equilibria for the following class of functional differential equations with distributed delay. We make our analysis by introducing an approach, combining a Lyapunov functional and monotone semiflow theory. The relevance of our results is illustrated by studying the well-known integro-differential Nicholsons blowflies and Mackey- Glass equations, where some delay independent stability conditions are provided.

Résumé : Quantum integrable models of many body systems have a long story in 2d- statistical mechanics that can be distilled into the well-known Yang-Baxter (YB) equation and its interpretation via quantum groups. Recently, it has been proposed that the solutions of the YB equation associated with Lie groups can be deduced in a systematic way from observables in three-dimensional Chern-Simons gauge theory. The aim of this presentation is to review aspects of this link with gauge theory, give simple examples of solutions of YB equation, and make some general comments on this development.

Résumé : In this talk we analyze existence, nonexistence, multiplicity and regularity of positive solutions to problem

where Ω is a bounded open set in RN, β is a continuous positive function possible singular at the zero), λ is a positive constant and f is a positive measurable function.

We will assume that Ω has a smooth enough boundary, as an example, the interior sphere condition is sufficient to do all the arguments below.

Equations of the form (1) have been widely studied in the literature. For instance, in the case where q = 2, β ≡ constant and f ≡ 0, this equation may be reckoned as the stationary part of the equation

which may be viewed as the viscosity approximation as c → 0+ of Hamilton-Jacobi type equations from stochastic control theory. The same parabolic equation appears in the physical theory of growth and roughening of surfaces, where it is known as the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang equation.

In this talk we will present some results about:

(1) General regularity of any positive weak solution.

(2) Existence result for general q (including the case q > 2.)

(3) Uniqueness and multiplicity result according to the value of q.

(4) Extensions to non-local operator and open problems.

Résumé : One uses Fermat’s principle of least time of light propagation to define a metric glueing construction of two homothetic half Euclidean planes. One next generalizes the glueing process to families of homethetic Euclidean strips and get general “fractured Euclidean planes?, a kind of discrete warped products, among them emerges the hyperbolic plane as the most symmetric one. This case leads one to ask and formulate the question of transforming a given dynamical system to a geodesic one?

Marrakech- Titre de la conférence : The Cancellation problem and related topics.

Résumé : Given a ring R and a positive integer n we denote by R[n] the polynomial R-algebra in n variables. Given an R-algebra A such that A[m] ∼R R[n+m], for some m ≥ 1, the Cancellation Problem asks whether A = R[n].

In this talk we give the state of the art concerning the Cancellation Problem. We also discuss its connection to several other problems of Affine Algebraic Geometry.

symmetric matrices.

Résumé : We introduce the Riesz Probability distribution on symmetric matrices as an extension of the Wishart distribution, and we give a statistical interpretation of this distribution. We then construct a Beta-Riesz distribution and we characterize it in the Olkin and Rubin way without assuming invariance. We also introduce two types of matrix beta-hypergeometric distributions and we characterize each one by a property of stability. This involves the use of some random continued fractions and Markov chains.

Résumé : In this lecture, the speaker will review recent results on subwavelength resonances. His main focus is on developing a mathematical and computational framework for their analysis. By characterizing and exploiting subwavelength resonances in a variety of situations, he constructs a unified theory of super-focusing of waves, double-negative metamaterials, and controlling wave propagation at the subwavelength scale. Super-resolution and metamaterials are usually studied within the context of different approaches. Remarkably, as will be shown in this lecture, they owe their origin to the same underlying physical mechanism, namely, wave interaction with a subwavelength resonator.

et application hydrogéologique.

Résumé : Comme beaucoup de ville côtière, la ville de Tripoli-Liban souffre d’une intrusion saline aggravée par l’excès de pompage et la crise des réfugiés Syriens. Nous présentons un modèle mathématique approprié au site d’étude et dérivons une série de problème ouvert assez varié et complexe. Nous donnons des éléments de réponse à certains de ces problèmes, tandis que plusieurs autres restent ouverts.
