Dès son jeune âge, elle est fascinée par la beauté naturelle des choses qui l’entourent. Les arbres, les papillons, la nature sous toutes ses formes l’attirent plus particulièrement. Elle tente par diff érents moyens d’exprimer ses talents artistiques pendant une vingtaine d’années utilisant diff érents médias, mais toujours, elle revient à la peinture.
Her interest for painting began very early on. She was fascinated by the natural beauty of things around her. Trees, butterfl ies, nature in all its colors would attract her attention. She attempts diff erent artistic means to express emotions and feelings within, which seemed impossible to express in words or otherwise.

Dénise s’exprime avec la technique de découpage-collages, sur assiettes récupérées. Elle utilise des photos de magazines qu’elle découpe et colle sur de vieilles assiettes, petites boîtes, canvas, etc.... cela satisfait son besoin d’harmoniser les couleurs pour arriver à un équilibre parfait.
Dénise uses the découpage-collage technique to create her plates. She uses photos in magazines and cuts and glues them on old plates, small boxes, canvases, etc... This satisfi es her need to harmonize colors for the ultimate goal to have the perfect balance.

faire partie de la série de peinture à l’huile Nature abstraite.
As a multidisciplinary visual artist, Sonia lets her subjects choose the medium which will bring them forth. Giving her subjects this choice has meant a studio fi lled with a variety of creations. In her latest endeavor, small stones have accepted their role in inspiring the series of oil paintings Natural Abstracts.

Darin, artiste local, récolte des champignons locaux pour ensuite les faire déshydrater à l’aide du soleil. Darin ajoute ensuite un croquis à l’encre noire de plusieurs diff érentes inspirations locales.
Local artist Darin harvests local tree fungi. The fungi are then dehydrated using the sun. Darin then adds black ink sketches of several diff erent local inspirations.

Dave graduated in Arts from Concordia University and is a resident artist at the Heron Bay Gallery in Shediac. Dave started painting in 2000, after a one year stay in Brazil and works in a variety of media.

Les émotions et les interactions chez les êtres humains sont une source constante d’inspiration pour mon travail. Bien qu’infl uencées par l’histoire, les fi gures sont d’expression contemporaine. Mes sculptures fi guratives ont des personnalités de grandeur nature, mais leur taille leur permet néanmoins d’être chéries comme un objet intime.
Human emotions and interactions provide a constant source of inspiration for my work. While drawing from historical infl uences, the fi gures constructed are contemporary in expression. My fi gurative sculptures possess full-size personalities, while their scale allows them to be cherished as intimate objects.

Originally from Gaspésie, her inspiration comes mainly from the landscape and colors of the area which became a passion for the artist. She is inspired by the emotion of the moment and the sound of music to create her artwork which is semi-abstract in diff erent subjects and medium such as Acrylic, Oil and Pastel fi lled with inspiring colors and softness.

Elle travaille actuellement à partir de son studio à la maison. Vous pouvez la trouver au marché du Parc à Shediac tous les dimanches pendant l’été, ainsi que dans les marchés et les festivals d’art tout au long de l’année.
Rachel is a member of the New-Brunswick Craft Council and her pottery can be found in several galleries and gift shops throughout the Maritimes. She currently works out of her home studio, and can be found at the Shediac Park Market every Sunday throughout the summer, as well as at various markets and art festivals throughout the year.
