For several years now, we’ve attended global awareness

conferences (Copenhagen Summit, Kyoto Protocol)

because it’s increasingly necessary to update our

production and consumption patterns, as well as to lay

down new foundations of economic development, so that

we may ensure the future of our planet.

Thus, new solutions must be considered and explored to

address the challenge of stable development today and

tomorrow. In France, the (Grenelle of the Environment /

Grenelle de l’Environment) has facilitated the accelerated

development of studies, procedures, markets and products

that are more respectful of our environment, and alternatives

to fossil fuels and nonrenewable resources. Agricultural

resources are hailed as one potential solution to these issues

and modern agriculture has adapted and diversified itself

to bring about innovative solutions in hopes of leading to a

worldwide valuation of food.

As a result, the major players in the agricultural world

and the agro-industry have laid the groundwork for new

opportunities in both the development of new forms of

energy and molecular development, through innovation,

turning to new non-food valuations and diversifying into

alternative markets.
