Prayer For Vocations Lord, Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd of our souls. You who know Your sheep and know how to reach the human heart. Stir the hearts of those people who would follow You but who cannot overcome doubts and fears. You who are the Word of the Father, the Word which enlightens and sustains hearts, conquer with Your Spirit the resistance and delays of indecisive hearts. Awaken in those whom You call the courage of love’s answer: “Here I am, send me” Inspired by the writings of St. John Paul ll

10:30 am Mass at Ste. Anne For the Parishioners
11:00 am Mass at Good Shepherd For the Parishioners
FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
Dear Parishioners of Ste. Anne,
Happy Mother’s day to all of our mothers! May you be
blessed as you celebrate this day and know how much
you are loved by our entire community! Here is a blessing that you
may pray at home to honour our mothers:
Loving God, we thank you for the love of the mothers you have given us,
whose love is so precious that it can never be measured, whose patience seems to have no end.
May we see your loving hand behind them and guiding them. We pray for those mothers who fear
they will run out of love or time, or patience. We ask you to bless them with your own special love.
We ask this in the name of Jesus, our brother and Lord. Amen.
Amen.
Many people have been asking lately about our plans for
re-opening, once permission is granted from our governing officials.
Please know that we continue to follow the directives issued by our
Provincial government and local health unit in this regard. Bishop
Fabbro has already a committee in place to begin discussing how
we will follow the phased-in approach of re-opening, and how
gatherings and sacraments can be celebrated in a safe, sanitized
and welcoming manner. This pandemic is not the first time the
Church has had to relook at how sacramental celebrations take
place, and so there are many possibilities available to us in the
Church’s tradition that can guide our discussions. As of yet,
however, no permissions for re-opening have been issued by the
health unit or government. Thank you for your continued patience
and understanding during our time of quarantine, and please be
assured that we are doing everything possible to ensure we stay
connected as a parish community. We truly believe that by being
committed to following the directives from our Bishop and our health
care professionals, we can assist everyone in staying healthy and to
protect those who are vulnerable.
With our ongoing thoughts & prayers,
Fr. Patrick Bénéteau and the Ste. Anne Parish Team.
Our Deceased Please remember in prayer our deceased loved
ones, especially Marie Gagnon, Linda Pitre, Drena Wilson (sister of
Carol Beausoleil). May they rest in peace and may the Lord send
comfort and consolation to their families.
Present Father, you have promised we
will never be alone. Teach us to put our
trust in you, to scour our world for signs of
your presence, and to trust you are with
us even when we struggle to see and feel
you. Amen. Alleluia!
Jésus, Bon Pasteur, Tu nous offres le
pardon aussitôt que nous le demandons.
Aide-nous à nous tourner vers Toi quand
nous avons failli et à recevoir ta miséricorde avec reconnaissance.
Amen. Alléluia!
#InspireCampaign Every Tuesday online tell us “What Inspires You Today!” Tell us how you have seen God’s grace today, what makes you
smile and other moments of inspiration!
Prayer for the Sick Jesus our Lord, we ask you to have mercy on all who are sick.
Give them your strength and love, and help them to carry this
cross with faith. May their sufferings be one with yours,
overcome the power of evil, and lead others to our Father in
heaven. Lord Jesus, hear our prayer, for you are Lord for ever
and ever. Amen
Amen
