DESCRIPTION
Florence ARNOLD took her first steps in San Pedro, Ivory Coast, and then followed her parents to the iron-red trails of Cameroon, where she spent some of her adolescent years. She lived in Algiers and hiked the eastern erg of the Sahara. Later she crossed the Atlantic to spend several years in San Francisco, California. She finally settled in the land of Morocco, her beloved country. Her life is a story of lands and encounters, and her identity is ‘World Citizen’. Her recent works imagine Paradise and religions. Each religion welcomes its children into a marvelous and peaceful garden. Do we all dream of the same garden? Do we share the desire for peace? Shall we pause for a moment and consider?
