L’Agence D.Paysage créée en 2002, prolonge l’activité de conception d’aménagements paysagers initiée par Diala HADDAD dés 1995, alors opérant en nom propre. Leur activité depuis ne cesse de s’accroître en étude de maîtrise d’oeuvre d’espaces publics en tant que mandataire ou en groupement avec desarchitectes, des urbanistes, des concepteurs lumière et des bureaux d’études de voiries et réseaux divers. Philosophie liée aux aménagements extérieurs: Le souci de l’agence dans l’élaboration des études est de répondre aux données programmatiques ainsi qu’au contexte spécifique de chaque site. Ils

n’imposent pas un style prédéfini qui s’applique de manière systématique à des projets. Au contraire, pour chaque opération, une réflexion particulière est faite, liée à la trame existante, au contexte géographique, urbain ou naturel, afin de définir les premières idées fédératrices. Leur attention est portée dès les premières phases de conception sur les éléments qui offrent un équilibre entre le développement du projet et l’environnement dans lequel il est situé.

Le Nouveau Centre d’Interprétation est situé dans un cadre majestueux du Cimetière Américain surplombant le site d’Omaha Beach. L’implantation du bâtiment et les aménagements des abords du musée prennent en compte les éléments forts du paysage qui se déclinent comme suit :La plage site historique d’Omaha Beach, la falaise paysage sensible et sauvage et le Bocage normand.

Le bâtiment se situe le long du coin nord est du Cimetière. Cet emplacement a été choisi afin d’exposer les visiteurs au site, à l’échelle et à l’ampleur de l’assaut initial du débarquement. L’Aire de Stationnement reprend la trame et palette végétale des bocages normand. Le jardin au nord du centre est un espace stratégique et assure la transition entre la plage et la falaise en contre bas et les jardins bucolique et soigné du cimetière.

L’emprise de l’étude se situe en partie sur l’ancien passage de la Mayenne avant les travaux de canalisation réalisés au 19ème siècle.L’objectif est de revaloriser cet espace naturel longeant la Mayenne en lui donnant une identité forte, tout en prenant compte des éléments du programme et des éléments existants. Le parti d’aménagement est de: - Faire ressortir la poétique du lieux ; - Révéler les vestiges de l’ancien lit de la rivière en reprenant l’ancien mouvement de l’eau circulant du nord au sud depuis la halte Fluviale, ancien démarrage du cours de la Mayenne; - D’offrir une atmosphère de détente ludique et de promenade pour toute la ville.

AMENAGEMENT DU SITE DES GRANDES COMBES - Courchevel - France

Situé à l’entrée de Courchevel, à 1 500 m d’altitude, le site des Grandes Combes est parcouru sur toute sa longueur par le ruisseau des Gravelles entre sous-bois et prairie.

À l’approche de la prestigieuse station de sports d’hiver, les Grandes Combes nous offre une opportunité fabuleuse de créer un complexe sportif en balcon sur le massif comprenant un centre aquatique, un terrain de grands jeux, une salle de sport, un centre de séminaire et plusieurs aires de sport extérieurs.

Notre équipe s’est engagée dans la réhabilitation complète du terrain de 12 hectares, qui est actuellement inconstructible et exposé à des risques naturels importants. Ce parti nous conduit à :

enlever les terres des remblais jusqu’aux versants naturels du ruisseau,

reconstituer le lit initial du ruisseau,rétablir le paysage du versant Est en y intégrant les

activités de sport outdoor,intégrer les bâtiments (complexe sportif, médiathèque et

centre de séminaire) dans le paysage de montagne au moyen de toitures végétalisées.

La reconstitution même du ruisseau prévoit de conserver le fond en matériaux transportés. Il est accompagné de deux promenades de part et d’autre du torrent et d’un cortège végétal destiné à conforter les berges, et à favoriser la reconstitution de la flore et de la faune du ruisseau.

Le parti d’aménagement paysager renforce et confirme le parti architectural et la démarche environnementale dans la restitution du site des Grandes Combes à son état naturel. Les végétaux proposés s’inscrivent dans la palette végétale locale qui se décline en trois catégories : prairie, végétation ripisylve, et forêt. La prairie est de type alpine, afin qu’elle s’intègre aux flancs des massifs environnants. Elle englobe les toitures végétalisées ainsi que les surfaces non minérales du site.

The Interior design of the Peninsula Hotel is based on a contemporary interpretation of early 20th C Beaux Art style, where elegance and classicism are the key elements. Pure lines, neutral colours such as off whites highlighted with crisp white, contrasting with taupe and warm earthy colours provide a refined; serene and comfortable environment.

The landscape scheme works with the interior style, to achieve an interweaving relationship between interior and exterior. Thus the exteriors of an exclusive destination such as the Peninsula Hotel, reflect the quality of the interiors and offer a tranquil, serene and refined environment. To achieve the above the landscape design scheme is based on the following key elements:

• To provide a specific identity and signature to the Peninsula Hotel

• To provide a scheme which is technically adapted to all the requirements and constraints of the building,(load bearing capacities)

• To create a seamless integration of planting and hardscape elements which form continuity with the interior design of the hotel. The proposed flowering colours are a selection of various delicate hues of whites.

• To provide a sculptural, elegant and graphic planting scheme which sets off against the classical facades,

• To propose aesthetically pleasing and long lasting materials in harmony with interior design materials.

All plantings in beds and planters are automatically irrigated and drained. (Refer to irrigation description)Irrigation water supply pipes and drainage channels are concealed, integrated into the paving pattern.

The Bar terrace as the rest of the hotel must provide exclusiveness, intimacy and quality. In addition, its particularity is that it has an outstanding view, overlooking the roofs of Paris and the Eiffel Tower the emblem of Paris.It overlooks courtyard A but the orientation of the planting and seating layout will be orientated towards the panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower.

Sculptural and graphic planting will be integrated in pots, located in a rhythmic fashion in between seating to create intimacy and reduce the large expanse of the terrace. A lush green band of planting on the eastern side of the terrace will screen the bar terrace from the rooms below. A dainty but elegant strip of planting underlines the balustrade and the view towards the Eiffel terrace.

Predominantly white flowering shrubs and plants will contrast with the green foliage and will carry out the signature colour and thread of the landscape design for the Peninsula hotel throughout the building, starting from the ground floor, rising through all the floors to the top of hotel. The Lighting scheme will be integrated to the planting to add an enchanting and poetic touch, reflecting the constellation above and in the background the tinselling lights of the Eiffel Tour

AMBIANCESDans le cadre de ce projet, mon travail fut de mettre en place une liste de végétaux pour les différents types d’espaces traités, de réaliser des montages illustrant le projet et enfin de monter une plaquette finalisant le travail de la phase APD.

The roof terraces must portray the most exclusive spaces of the hotel. They evoke a feeling of uniqueness, of a hanging garden, an outdoor room, dominating the city and overlooking the monuments of Paris.

These terraces are composed of a seamless integration of landscape and hardscape elements, including vegetation, lighting, hard surfaces, structures and engineering aspects. They blend in together in a natural way: their integration being a deliberate product of a well co-ordinated design process.

The load bearing capacities are taken into consideration and limit the design to the use of light weight materials and structures. Thus planting is restricted to low shrubs and ground covers. Planting beds are raised by 40 cm from terrace floor finished level for planting technical purposes and to create defined private spaces, breaking up the large flat terrace effect. Careful associations of planting textures and forms will participate in providing an exclusive lush green environment.

Customised wicker sculptural screens are introduced in the raised planting beds to partition the terraces from one another and provide intimacy. Wicker is lightweight, filters, wreduces winds and can be weaved in several patterns to introduce texture.

To soften the hard surface, clearly defined rectangles of grass are placed on the hard paving as a carpet.

These terraces are composed of a seamless integration of landscape and hardscape elements, including vegetation, lighting, hard surfaces, structures and engineering aspects. They blend in together in a natural way: their integration being a deliberate product of a well co-ordinated design process.

The load bearing capacities are taken into consideration and limit the design to the use of light weight materials and structures. Thus planting is restricted to low shrubs and ground covers. Planting beds are raised by 40 cm from terrace floor finished level for planting technical purposes and to create defined private spaces, breaking up the large flat terrace effect. Careful associations of planting textures and forms will participate in providing an exclusive lush green environment.

Customised wicker sculptural screens are introduced in the raised planting beds to partition the terraces from one another and provide intimacy. Wicker is lightweight, filters, wreduces winds and can be weaved in several patterns to introduce texture.

To soften the hard surface, clearly defined rectangles of grass are placed on the hard paving as a carpet.

Planting along the balustrade street side, located in a strip fashion, will offer a green lush buffer from the busy street below.

This courtyard will hold outdoor seating in an elegant composition and balance between vegetation and hardsape. The northern lobby opens onto the courtyard. Thus a subtle interaction between interior and exterior would create a majestic spatial quality. On the southern side of the courtyard a light well is to be located and is to be coordinated with the landscape scheme. This courtyard is the hub of the Hotel it is viewed from several interior spaces such as the lobby, the galleries on the western and eastern side, the rotunda and last but lot least from the rooms above. This space will offer a serene and graceful atmosphere, providing a select seating area. Four accent planting beds are located in the corners of the courtyard and provide a backdrop of vegetation which frames the rotunda and lobby glazed wall. The planting is a composition of pure lines (perfectly trimmed box’s hedge) contrasted with graphic and textured flowing vegetation. In the centre of each planting bed emerges a white flowering sculptural tree such as a magnolia or a dogwood tree White is the chosen flowering colour. The courtyard floor material is to be coordinated with the architects and Interior designers. We however imagine a structured rhythmic pattern with contrasting neutral colours that could be a continuation of the lobby floor design. The west facing façade of the building will be planted with two climber panels (an evergreen white rose climber) to break the hard and austere architecture. The planting beds for the climbers are to be located and integrated to the Gazebo roof structure.

Carefully selected plant associations are proposed to provide a specific character and signature to this major space.

Le site s’inscrit dans une plaine agricole. L’habitat se déroule de façon linéaire le long de la côte Atlantique.Le tourisme émerge. On retrouve un camping dans le fond de vallée à l’est.

Ce sont des structures paysagères naturelles, lits desséchées d’un affluent d’un oued» Ils forment un patrimoine remarquable à mettre en valeur. Ce sont des écosystèmes

L’arganier, un arbre emblématique

Sapotacée du sud-ouest marocain, est un arbre endémique, patrimoine national et mondial à la fois.

Arbre forestier à rôle écologique, luttant contre l’érosion des sols et fourrager, alimentant les troupeaux de caprins, il est également fruitier.

On extrait de son abandon l’huile d’argan, réputée internationalement pour ses qualités diététiques et cosmétologiques

Chaque partie de l’arbre est utilisable et représente une source de revenues non négligeable pour les ruraux limitrophes.

Dans la perspective de préserver cette richesse naturelle dans la région, une stratégie locale a été mise en place visant à : Informer et sensibiliser l’opinion locale, nationale et internationale. Sauvegarder et protéger ce patrimoine local. Développer et valoriser localement la culture de l’arganier

L’arganier est remarquablement présent sur le site. L’enjeu majeur est de préserver leur nombre.

Le projet privilégie les circulations douces. Les voies de circulation voitures sont réduites au minimum et les traversées piétonnes sont facilitées. La végétation prend un place importante dans ces espaces.

Relation batis - jardins

Les murs pignons des bâtiments sont blanc et strictes en rappel des constructions. Les séparations avec l’espace public se font par des murets en pierre sèche issus du site. L’espace est ouvert, naturel, en lien direct avec l’environnement du site et l’ambiance si particulière conférée par le chaaba.

Le quartier des vergnes se trouve dans les quartiers nord de clermont ferrand. Le secteur des Vergnes comprend 3881 habitant et se compose de 1518 logements, 688 logements sociaux et 830 logements en copropriété et hors secteur pavillonnaire.Il se caractérise par plusieurs points :- Une césure nord - sud très affirmée, entre un habitat collectif au nord, et la zone pavillonnaire au sud.- Un fort enclavement- Des espaces publics déqualifiés.

Les objectifs répondent donc à ces problématique, la volonté étant de désenclaver, remailler, valoriser le cadre de vie, permettre la diversification sociale et fonctionnelle.

En parallèle de la définition du projet urbain, la ville de Clermont a acté l’extension de la ligne 1 du tramway jusqu’au Vergnes. Le tracé aujourd’hui arrêté long la place, traverse la rue du château puis rejoint la voie ferrée. Une station est prévue sur la place Le centre commercial actuel est détruit pour être réaménagé

Chaque typologie de bâti tend à se refermer sur elle-même excepté les tours. Une rupture forte se crée entre les différents logements tant par leur typologie que leur disposition, leur échelle, leur population.

La végétation est non structurante, les arbres sont placés au hasard sur le site. La végétation renforce la césure Nord-Sud, elle ‘enferme’ le bâti collectif. Malgré la grande diversité des espèces de feuillus et de conifères, il n’y a pas de trame végétale lisible.

Le site n’est pas traversé par la voiture, les parkings sont surdimensionnés. Les circulations piétonnes à l’intérieur du site sont complexes, l’espace central est un espace de transit uniquement, très ouvert, il n’invite pas à la pause.

Le travail que j’ai effectué sur ce projet fut très intéressent. J’ai pu comprendre le fonctionnement des concours. J’ai assisté des le début à la réalisation de ce projet. Dans un premier temps, une visite du site et une rencontre avec la maîtrise d’ouvrage ainsi que les autres concurrents à permis de s’imprégner du projet.

Mon travail au sein de ce projet fut de réaliser un diagnostique du site, afin de comprendre les dynamiques, la façon dont l’homme a occupé et occupe le site afin de proposer dans un deuxième temps une esquisse de projet

L’eau Une des problématique majeure est l’inscription du site en zone inondable. Il est très important de prendre en compte cette donnée dans la réalisation du projet. En effet, il est nécessaire de proposer des aménagements qui ne doivent pas aggraver la situation et prévoir des systèmes qui conduieront à c que ces eaux soient infiltrées dans les sols ou temporairement retenues jusqu’a rejoindre le reseau sans risque de débordement.

Le site vient s’articuler en trois zones distinctes qui viennent s’imbriquer les unes dans les autres.À l’ouest autour de la crèche, l’intention est de créer un espace plus ouvert. Aujourd’hui confiné dans une végétation abondante, on ne perçoit plus l’environnement proche du site. La crèche s’ouvre sur le reste de la place, les jeux pour enfants sont regroupés au niveau de cette infrastructure.La deuxième zone centrale est traversée par le parc au sud et la promenade au nord. Cette zone créé la transition entre le place urbaine proprement dites. Les espaces s’interpénètrent, les circulation suivent les axes d»anciens biefs qui irriguaient les champs autour du château.Ces canaux structurent le site, ils suivent les circulations piétonnes et prennent différentes formes suivant les espaces traversés.Le plus à l’est, la place urbaine regroupe l’arrêt du tram, le centre commercial et le château.Cette place essentiellement minérale pourra être traversée par des bandes végétales qui reprennent l’orientation du château. C’est un espace de rencontre, il est amené a être traversé en toute occasion.L’espace autour du château est dégagé. Il retrouve une certaine place, étant présentement noyé dans la masse végétale et bâtie.
