What is TeamWash?

• Based on recent studies, it seems that a large number of candidates exaggerate their responsibilities,

employment durations and lie about their qualifications.

• “CV Washing” is a well-established method in the US. This authentication process and CV verification

is slowly being introduced in Europe as we find that more than one out of three CVs has been

embellished.

• TeamWash is the process by which you will be able to shine a light on the real knowledge and abilities

of your future employees.

Why use the TeamWash service?

• In your role as an employer, you are responsible for checking qualifications and other relevant

information before employing a candidate.

• What’s more, if you recruit a candidate without at least doing minimal checks, the company takes a huge

risk and the Manager responsible for recruitment could jeopardise their credibility.

• Certain checks are legal requirements, and certain are optional but recommended as standard by the

Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS). All of these checks are offered by TeamWash, and

SILVER CERTIFICATIONVerification and certification in the following areas:

• QualificationsWe will contact the establishments mentioned on the CV to check the qualifications/training have been completed.

If it is not possible to verify this information, we will ask the candidate for copies of the diplomas/certificates.

• ExperienceWe will contact the candidate’s previous employers, in particular the manager in charge of the personnel. If the candidate is still employed, we will not contact their current employer without their consent.

• Linguistic abilitiesTeamWash will conduct language tests depending on the needs of the job. This could be a written or oral examination according to the client’s wishes.

GOLD CERTIFICATION Verification and certification of the following extra points:

• Salary In terms of previous jobs, we will contact the accounting services to check the level of salary indicated by the candidate. If this is not possible, we will ask the candidate for a copy of their pay slips.

• Reference letters We will contact the person that has written the letter to check the content is correct: We will check that the author has in fact written the letter of recommendation. We will verify their position in the company and relation to the candidate. We will check the content of the letter.

PLATINUM CERTIFICATIONVerification and certification of the following extra points:

• Legal Information Criminal Record (ex-CRB, new DBS checks) Driving licence, including penalties The status of their identity papers (National identity card or working permit) The candidate’s exact address (proof of address)

• E-reputation We will check the candidate’s personal information available on the internet and relevant media: analyse skills and recommendations, check coherence with CVs uploaded online, etc.

• Having graduated with a Masters in English and Political Science, Julie-Isabelle left France for the United States. There she joined the

Anderson School of Management at UCLA and took the Diploma in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior.

• She then began a career in Recruitment which has lasted more than 20 years.

• After having brought her expertise to the table in several international recruitment firms, she created her own company in 2002,

focusing on English/French bilingual legal profiles. Her clients are loyal to her and have followed her for many years.

• Enriched with a background made up of French, English and South American cultures, Julie-Isabelle will be able to help you in French,

∞ Vanessa DESTERBECQ

• A graduate in Law trained in both Corporate and Notarial Law, Vanessa brings her knowledge and skills in the legal and

commercial domain to TeamWash. After a first period of experience; she joined a recruitment company specializing in the

recruitment of lawyers, intellectual property professionals and notaries. There, she discovered the difficulties faced by HR

professionals and joined the TeamWash team.
