Located on the Museum Thyssen Bornemisza of Madrid the project gives answer to the necesity of revitalize this area.

The project development is based on the importance of the colective imagination of a city. Through a series of optical dispositives the most important and fascina-ting flora in Madrid is moved, ficticially, with real time images to the backyard of the Museum. With this we can recreate a real sensory forest.

Housing project in the historic city. The organic shape of the urban enviroment and transformable quality enters the site. The geometry is defined by the trace of the city, in which are introduced the remains of the old wall.

The inhabitant enters his home without the need to ascendo through conventional communication areas. The space is conceived under the premise of the small sur-face, which is defined by a sense of spatial amplitude given by the double heights that each of the houses adopts, increasing the space and light quality.

The project is made of brick and concrete, differentiating the vertical elements of the horizontal, seeking the spatial movement generated inside with the section, setting reminiscent to ruin city.

The project gives answer to the need of a public pool near the ancient wall of the city of Florence.

The pool is disposed to separate strictly both swimmers and visitors areas, giving special importance to the integration of the vegetation within the whole complex.

The building is perceived as a very massive sculptural object, enhanced by the ou-ter layer, conformed with a mosaic of specially treated stone, carved with classical florence textures.

The Grenoble University Faculty Building brings together the College´s key admi-nistrative and institutional functions for the first time under one roof.

The plan consists of three circular shaped buildings forming an organic system. These circles give form to the empty spaces outside of the building which are gra-ded in three different levels used as terraces to conform the public space where meeting or conferences could take place. This fragmentary disposition of the area gives the possibility of creating new ways of interacting within the campus although it doesn’t interrupt the number of visitors. The interior is designed as an open and flexible space to accommodate changing shifts and making optimum use of it. It is understood as part of the continuity, only stopped by a few closed rooms in which private meetings could take place. It acts as a social magnet for the University, encouraging students, lecturers and researchers from diverse disciplines to mix. The buildings are distributed according to a pintoresque patron where the axes become less important in order to increase the appearance and disappearance of the constructive profiles, enriching its visual level. The complex is built around a repetitive concrete structure, which gives the sensation of a strato-laminated form. The glazed façade reinforce the importance of vegetation in the public space, by visually duplicating it. Acting as a mirror the façade gives the illusion of a double “green layer”. The new light-filled building gives staff the panoramic views over the Alpes.

The pavillion responds to the premise of creating a radical structure in an extreme enviroment. It bases the potencial in the aperture towars the horizon. It opens to inmensity. The project adapts its shape to the needs of the territory, by adhering to the ladnscape, it becomes another organism forming parto of the enviroment.

The construction can be adapted both to topograhy and needs of the user, chan-ging its orientation, making the user part of the conformation and design of the pavillion, creating a strong link between men and architecture.

The concept of dynamism and changing capacity of an infraestructure and the importance of being capable of adapting to the enviroment are the pilars of the project.

The Emmerich Structure in the École Nationale Superieur d’Architecture à Greno-ble, responds to the college´s needs of planning a structure to give the location, a small corridor in one of its terraces, the adequate solar radiation, nowadays exces-sive, due to the orientation.

The main idea of the project is to dispose a triangular structure over the corridor as a lattice in order to sift the light into it. The perception of the design is opposite depending on where the spectator is located, according to the project. Inside the corridor the user experiments a magical sensation produced by how the light is transmitted to the concrete surface of the college building. The construction of the project is based on the folding paper Japanese method of Origami. The triangular structure of the design gives it the capacity of bearing itself with no needs of any other precision.

This area of Madrid needs unifying, identity, both internal and external. Bond and is vital, and there is a need to create internal points of interest.

We cover this area with a new skin that unifies and extends the sources of external action, resolves topography and connected. This skin is trimmed creating oppor-tunity spaces that are attached to buildings and public spaces. A skin that grows in thickness and contains program, different programs that are able to connect internal and external points.

The skin undergoes transformations to service a number of programs. All these actions are performed according to a grading scale, they can all be applied from the macro scale to the micro scale, planned and spontaneous.

This new unit is granted by the skin color range, a range of oranges that are pro-posed for the project, but nevertheless does not neglect the different materialities and varied textures that may have spaces and obviously the possible cuts that the blanket may have.

Located on the junction of two of the main Madrid´s axis, the site had been vacant since both runways were constructed and the old buildings were demolished. The reason for the project was the need of giving a fresh impetus to the area in terms of housing and to put into value the local landscape among innovating on new ways of living.

The project development is based in three main areas: urban space, communi-cation and modern typologies. The urban space is considered part of the project itself, as the organic shape of the building provides public areas where social in-teraction occurs. The communication in the project shows the contradiction of dividing between public and private space in modern society, where this limits often became less clears. In this matter, the stairs and the corridors of the building become part of the everyday social interaction by adapting their form to create new semi-private spaces. The modern typologies are explored in two different ways: open “loft” apartment and fragmented disposal. Both typologies are adapted to a double height configuration in order to bring natural light into the rooms.

The building opens to the social areas with big windows and gives the runways façade the monumental part with small and repetitive modulation. Both façades are referring to abstract proposals, although each of them has to respond to the needs of their orientation.

Santa Engracia is needed of a new dynamic activation. Revitalization of conflict points. The project involves the reactivation of the area through the introduction of a structural unit and easily accesible program, to create and generate morphologi-cal transformations starting with a single item.

It takes a deductive process, starting from the city, to get to the house and finally to the module, human proportions, capable of carrying program itself and being visual identity, productive and meaningful. It is an elementary particle which creates its own ladscape, changing the neighbourhood at all scales. The transformations arising from the multiple combinations of this module with himslef and with addi-tional elements.

The easy development of transformations makes it spreadable in an easy way. Their ability to change and adapt to future conflicts and circumstances is key to this point.
