Şakalak uçtan yaylı balta ayaklı universal ekim makinası her çeşit hububat tohumunu gübreyi hassas ve düzgün olarak istenilen miktarda, istenilen derinliğe, eşit sıralarda ekebilen traktöre üç nokta askı düzeni ile bağlanabilen asılır tip bir ekim makinasıdır. 14 - 16 - 18 - 20 - 22 - 24 - 26 - 28 - 30 - 32 sıralı (ayaklı) imal edilir. Uçtan yaylı çelik balta ayak ile gübre ve tohum ayrı ayrı atılır. İsteğe bağlı olarak hidrolik ve elektronik iz bırakmalı olarak üretilebilir. Hububat tohumlarının yanı sıra tohum kursaklarının, makaralarının iki tip tırnak grubu içermesinden dolayı iri ve orta büyüklükdeki tohumları (Mısır, Soya, Bezelye, Nohut, Mercimek, Kanola gibi) ve küçük tohumları (Yonca, Süpürge, Soğan, Ispanak gibi) hassas şekilde ekebilmek mümkün olmaktadır.
