Costume.Antagonist, my antagonist will be wearing dark clothing as if he is trying to conceal his identity and more specifically a hoodie with the hood up and gloves.victims, the victims, one male and one female, will be wearing regular teenage casual clothing so that they firstly look vulnerable as they are oblivious to the events around them. Protagonist, the protagonist has very little role in my opening sequence however he will be the older brother to the first victim, to do this the costume will be fairly modern however slightly more older looking for example instead of using a hoodie a pullover could be used as this would make him seem much more approachable and a friendly figure which would be stereotypical of a protagonist.

Location. The location I would prefer to use is a cattle market. This will be on the route home in the opening sequence the fact it is a cattle market has no significance apart from the fact it is urban and industrialized which is the area I want to use in my product. The industrialized location will create more of a sense of danger which is also shown through the fact both locations are not in use giving the sense of loneliness. If this is not available for any reason I do have a back up plan which is also an industrialized area however is more public which is why it would not be my first choice. Idea one. Idea two

Lighting. My lighting in my product will be overcast and dusk. I believe this would be most conventional fro a thriller and also the accessibility

for this weather is easy given the times I finish school and the season. This creates a heightened sense of eeriness or danger

which are both conventions of the thriller genre.

Props.

I have decided to use these props because firstly the weapons are easily accessed and for the film I believe they will be more effective. This is because they are objects which might not be seen as a weapon. This will help represent that the antagonist has not planned and careless which highlights the instability of the character.
