Il s’agit d’une formation particulièrement innovante. Son objectifest en effet de proposer un ensemble de techniques manuellesutilisées en kinésithérapie humaine et en thalassothérapie, adaptéesà l'équidé et ayant pour objectif la préparation musculaire ducheval athlète.

Nous retrouvons ainsi différentes techniques en massages deconfort, stretching et adjuvants naturels (enveloppements auxalgues).

Le Physiothérapeute manuel équin et canin accompagne la préparation et la récupération physique de l’animal de sport oude loisir en contribuant à son confort musculaire et articulaire parla pratique de différents types de massages et d’étirements, ainsique de l’utilisation d’adjuvants naturels. En cas d’affections locomotrices ses activités de rééducation physique s’effectuentexclusivement sur diagnostic et prescription vétérinaire.

Lors de cette formation de 1112,50 heures sur 12 mois (alternantthéorie, pratique et stages), le cheval sera étudié sous ses coutures :interventions des meilleurs spécialistes (vétérinaires, kinésithé-rapeute humain, maréchal-ferrant).

L'étude poussée de l'anatomie est un passage obligé avant touteintervention préventive; le but étant de comprendre au mieux lefonctionnement du cheval de sport pour mieux l'accompagner

informations pratiquesLa formation est ouverte ❖ Aux personnes travaillant dans la filière équine et voulant se

perfectionner ou élargir leurs connaissances (ASV, grooms, cavaliers/entraîneurs).

❖ Aux professionnels de la santé animal (vétérinaire ou ostéopathe animalier). Aux Kinésithérapeute D.E ayant des connaissance et/ou compétences en matière équine. Possibilité de faire une demande de VAE.

❖ Toute personne souhaitant se reconvertir et pratiquant un sport équestre.

Niveau requis : Baccalauréat Général ou Professionnel (niveau 4).

Niveau de sortie : Niveau 2.

Durée de la formation 1112.50 h sur 12 mois. Formation de 5 jours consécutifs en organisme/mois sur 10 mois,soit 375 heures et 450 heures de stage réparties sur 12 mois +250 heures de recherche. Formation certifiante.
