Figure : Observed IR (lower frame) and VCD (upper frame) of IK001 and LG6 in CDCl3, with 10 mg sample in 300 µl solvent. The resolution is 4 cm-1, with the instrument optimized at 1400 cm-1. Collection time is 12 h. IR spectra are solvent subtracted. The region below 925 cm-1 has been left out because of high solvent absorbance and thus higher noise.

Spectre IR et dichroïsme circulaire vibrationnel (VCD)
P. Lassen, T. Freedman, L. Nafie (Syracuse)
Figure : Observed IR (lower frame) and VCD (upper frame) of IK002 and LG8 in CDCl3, with 10 mg sample in300 µl solvent. The resolution is 4 cm-1, with the instrument optimized at 1400 cm-1. Collection time is 12 h. IRspectra are solvent subtracted.
Observed vs. calculated IR (bottom) and VCD (top) spectra for IK002, compared to the calculated spectra for the two conformers (2g), using the B3LYP functional with Stuttgart and 6-31G* basis sets for rhenium and light elements, respectively. The average spectrum of the two conformers is also shown. Observed IR spectra are solvent subtracted (CHCl3 and CDCl3), and VCD is average subtracted, using the opposite enantiomer. The resolution is 4 cm-1, with the instrument optimized at 1400 cm-1. Collection time is 12 h.

TpReOEphe TpReOPro
