I always liked the creation, from my youngest age, I spent hours in my room to make any sort of things which came from my imagination, drawing...That fascinated

my mother. Until the day when she told me « when you grow up, you will make me my wooden house...» Since then i set my

goal. The desire to be an architect ap-peared so obvious. Spent my days desi-

gning, imagning, creating.

+DYLQJ�ıQLVKHG�KLJK�VFKRRO��,�MRLQHG�WKH�National School of Architecture of Pa-

ris-Malaquais. Throughout my studies, I followed a route mixing at the same time

aestheticism, structure and durability. I was lucky enough to meet competent

SHRSOH�LQ�WKH�ıHOG�RI�WKH�GHVLJQ�DQG�RI�WKH�architecture, who allowed me to experi-

ment projects and to give freedom to my imagination.

Having validated my license of architec-WXUH�DQG�KDYLQJ�PDGH�D�VXFFHVV�P\�ıUVW�year of Master’s degree, it was the time

for me to experiment new things. Specia-ly inspired by the American architecture during my journeys, in particular by Ri-

chard Neutra, Richard Meier, I decided to do my internship in the United States so i could have a better access and be at the

closest to the type of architecture i love.

J’ai toujours aimé la création, dès mon plus jeune âge, je passais des heures dans ma chambre à fabriquer toutes sortes de choses qui sortaient de mon imaginaire, à dessiner... Cela fas-cine ma mère. Jusqu’au jour où elle m’a dit «quand tu seras grand, tu me fabriqueras ma maison en bois...» De là, le déclic, ce fut. L’envie d’être archi-tecte met parue comme une évidence.

Passer mes journées à concevoir, imaginer, créer. Après être sortie du lycée, j’ai rejoint l’école d’architecture de Paris-Malaquais. Tout au long de mes études, j’ai suivi un parcours mêlant à la fois esthétisme, structure et durabilité. J’ai eu la chance de rencontrer des personnes compétentes dans le domaine du design et de l’architecture, qui m’ont permis d’expérimenter des projets et laisser libre cours à mon imagination.

Après avoir validé ma licence d’architecture et réussi ma première année de master, il s’agit pour moi d’expérimenter de nouvelles choses. Inspiré notamment par l’architecture américaine lors de mes voyages, et notamment par Richard Neu-tra, Richard Meier, j’ai décidé de faire mon stage DX[�ÜWDWV�XQLV�DıQ�GŖÝWUH�DX�SOXV�SURFKH�GH�FHWWH�architecture

PHYTO IMMERSION

Dedicated to the research, this building aims at forging links between biology and industry.

By developing innovative applications such as the piezoelectricity or the phytoremédiation, this

project aims to be obvious to commit the look of each on the environment. The relationship in

the water and the exhibition in prevailing wind are the main assets of the site which generated the main strategy of the project. This approach

of project proposes an autonomous research center and in total interaction with its environ-

ment.

To create this project, we began by imagining a passive envelope in the building. According

to the wind, this facade is going to produce thanks to the piezoelectric energy of the energy

reused in the facade to move panels.

The water being a main avantage of the site, we let in the water of the pond inside the buil-ding through various ponds. The purpose was

to clean the water to be able to use it in the building.

Dédié à la recherche, ce bâtiment vise à tisser des liens entre biologie et industrie. En déve-loppant des applications innovantes telle que la piezoélectricité ou la phytoremédiation, ce projet VH�YHXW�PDQLIHVWH�DıQ�GŖHQJDJHU�OH�UHJDUG�GH�chacun sur l’environnement. Le rapport à l’eau et l’exposition aux vents dominants sont les princi-paux atouts du site qui ont généré la principale stratégie du projet. Cette démarche de projet propose un centre de recherche autonome et en interaction totale avec son environnement.

$ıQ�GH�FUÜHU�FH�SURMHW��QRXV�DYRQV�FRPPHQFÜ�par imaginer une enveloppe passive au bâtiment. En fonction du vent, cette façade va produire grace à l’énergie piézoélectrique de l’énergie UÜXWLOLVÜ�GDQV�OD�ID×DGH�DıQ�GH�IDLUH�ERXJHU�OHV�panneaux.

L’eau étant un atoux principal du site, nous avons fait rentrer l’eau du bassin à l’intérieur du bâtiment Ç�WUDYHUV�GLijHUHQW�EDVVLQ��/H�EXW�ÜWDLW�GH�QHWWR\HU�l’eau pour pouvoir l’utiliser dans le bâtiment.

Demain, le site de séparation des gaz de l’air s’implante à proximité des villes.Pour garantir la sécurité et dégager la vue du paysage urbain, le modèle traditionnel de l’usine se renverse. Ce qui était proéminent se fait petit, ce qui semblait menaçant est mis ‡ l’abri. L’usine s ‘immerge dans la ville.

Dans un second mouvement, la machine à air liquide dévoile ses rouages.Elle présente au passant qui s’y intéresse le déroulé du processus, de manière ludique et instructive. Le long de la façade, s’égrènent des vitrines contenant une à une les éléments constitutifs du procédé air liquide. Cette transparence de l’activité d’air liquide est le privilége d’une activité industrielle irréprochable et propre.C’est la partie visible de l’iceberg.

ICEBERG - AIR LIQUIDE

Tomorrow, the site of separation of gases of the air becomes established near cities. To gua-

rantee the safety and bring out the sight of the townscape, the traditional model of the factory

overturns. What was prominent becomes small, what seemed threatening is put the sheltered.

The factory ‘ immerses in the city.In a second movement, the machine with liquid air reveals its cogs. It presents to the passer-by

who is interested in it the unwound of the pro-cess, in a playful and instructive way.

Along the facade, shell shop windows contai-ning one to one the constituent elements of

the process liquid air. This transparency of the activity of liquid air is the opportunity of an

irreproachable and appropriate industrial activity.It is the visible part of the iceberg.

IMMERSION - CENTER PARCS -

Within the framework of the education of the second half-year of the third year 2012-2013

in the ENSA Paris Malaquais, Sandra Plan-chez and Virginia Picon-Lefebvre managed a

workshop of studio on the theme of the archi-tecture of the named tourism « This is not a

hut «. The studio, in partnership with the body Pierre and Holidays, suggested exploring lines

of thought on « Center Parc on 2030 ».

The hypothesis according to which in a few de-cades the water level on the planet would have increased of new questions what stakes would

the project of a vacation center then have to explore?

It is the question that we settled by developing a vacation center where everything, or practi-

cally everything, would be made from a means of transport on the water.

Dans le cadre de l’enseignement du deuxième semestre de troisième année 2012-2013 à l’EN-SA Paris Malaquais, Sandra Planchez et Virginie Picon-Lefebvre ont dirigé un atelier de studio sur le thème de l’architecture du tourisme nommé « Ceci n’est pas une cabane« . Le studio, en par-tenariat avec l’organisme Pierre & Vacances, se SURSRVDLW�GŖH[SORUHU�GHV�SLVWHV�GH�UÜIJH[LRQ�VXU�ŝ�&HQWHU�3DUF�����Ҟ��

L’hypothèse selon laquelle dans quelques décen-nies le niveau de l’eau sur la planète aurait aug-menté pose de nouvelles questions. Quels enjeux le projet d’un centre de vacances aurait-il alors à explorer ?

C’est la question que nous nous sommes posé en élaborant un centre de vacances où tout, ou pratiquement tout, se ferait à partir d’un moyen de locomotion sur l’eau.

STRUCTURE

Project of three years, the concept of the workshop was to create an arc based on

cardboard. We then chose to create an arc ZKLFK�FRXOG�EH�PDGH�IURP���GLijHUHQW�PRGXOHV��,WV�IJDW�PRGXOHV�DUH�SXW�LQ�GULYH�E\�D�FDEOH�JLYLQJ�a 3d shape. Modules put end to end shape so

a complete arc.

Projet de 3e années, le concept du cours était des creer une arche mais cela a l’aide de carton.

Nous avons donc choisi de créer une arche qui SRXUUDLW�VH�IDEULTXHU�Ç�SDUWLU�GH���PRGXOHV�GLijÜ-rents. Ses modules plats sont mis en traction par un câble donnant une forme en 3 d. Les modules mis bout à bout forme ainsi une arche complète.
