Here I used curves to boost the colours and also balance out the tones and contrast of clashing colours. I also added more yellow and red hues to coincide with the earth, natural overall look.

Next I used the gradient tool to help add to the ‘Golden hour’ feel . I lowered the Fill and Opacity on the layer to reduce harsh lines and make it more harmonious.

Then moving onto finer details of air brushing and touching up the models I used the eye drop tool to select colours that match the neutral skin tone then used a brush with a low fill setting to slightly layer the colour, thus reducing any skin imprecations such as under eye circles and blemishes.

If there where any more stronger blemishes I used the patch tool to cover them.

To help add to the professional look I used the puppet warp tool to enlarge key areas of the face such as eyes and lips and also to increase the general sized of the models heads. This was a technique I found that quite allot of other magazines used.

I added a lens flare to make the image more dramatic and cinematic. But, I didn't want this to be too overwhelming so i reducing the opacity and set the layer mode to Screen.

Adding a black gradient to the bottom half of the picture and the rubbing out the models was used to help distance the models from their settings and help them stand out more.

Lastly I wanted to bring back some of the colours I the sky that the over exposure took away. To do this I reduced the overall brightness all the way down until I could see the sunset. Then using mask layers I deleted the bottom half using a gradient masks. And lastly like in the black gradient i rubbed out the models as I only wanted the upper areas to be effected.
