Nous avons fondé notre maison d’édition en 1996 pour cultiver notre différence.

Ibride se décline depuis en collections uniques où chaque objet, né d'intuitions et de convictions personnelles, contient sa propre mythologie. Une mythologie contemporaine, peuplée d'images, de rencontres, de voyages, d'animaux et de références multiples aux histoires des arts.Leur lien de parenté - le cœur de notre travail - est d'ajouter une valeur affective particulière aux objets qui nous entourent.

Nos nouvelles collections souhaitent affirmer avec audace ce lien et notre réputation de designers indépendants.

We established our publishing house in 1996, with the aim of cultivating our otherness, creating objects which make all the difference.

Since its creation, ibride has blossomed through a series of unique collections, where each and every object, the fruit of personal intuitions and convictions, embraces its own mythology.The latter is in fact a contempory mythology, populated with images, encounters, travels, animals, and permeated with numerous references to the history of art itself. The concept of family ties, binding all our collections, is at the heart of our work, and is designed to instill a special emotional bond into the objects which surround us in our daily lives.

Each new collection audaciously aims at asserting both these emotional bonds and our reputation as independent designers.

Les coffres d’ibride, monolithes noirs aux surfaces sculptées dans la matière, sont un hommage aux mythiques voyages des pilotes de l’Aéropostale.On survole du regard ces bas reliefs d’ébène comme les dunes d’un désert ou les îles du Cap Vert, les forêts amazoniennes et la cordillère des Andes, jusqu’à Santiago du Chili.Leur précieuse cargaison n’est autre que nos courriers intimes et trésors personnels comme enfouis dans les profondeurs de continents lointains.Les volumes, tous différents, s’agencent à volonté en compositions murales et se combinent également en un large programme de mobilier.

La gravure est réalisée dans nos ateliers et l’ensemble de la collection est entièrement réalisé en France.

The ibride chests, black monoliths with sculptured sur-faces in the matter, are a tribute to the mythical travels of the French airmail service pilots.With a glance, we skim over these bas relief of ebony, as we would do, whilst gliding over dunes in the desert, or the Cape Verde islands, the Amazonian forests and the Andes Cordillera, then all the way to Santiago in Chile.Their precious cargo is none other than our private post and personal treasures, as if they were buried deep down in the depths of distant continents.The volumes, all different, can be mixed and matched, and arranged to suit one’s taste in wall compositions. They can also be assembled and combined offering a vast range of possibilities to suit every occasion.

The wood engraving is carried out in our workshops and the entire collection is made in France.

lesHonneursWith a hint of impertinence and the desire to spark off a putsch in the jewellery sphere, ibride takes over the military codes, diverting the order of merits and displaying a new collection composed of medals and decorations.

The rigour of the stripes finds itself troubled by adornment. The medals, made in black ceramic, match rich brocade ribbons, thus reinventing the insignia and their symbols. Each and every battle will have its reward. And at last, each and every one of us will be able, according to merit, to award ourselves "manu militari", the honours.All of our medals, brooches and clips are
