• LA CAUTION OU DÉPÔT DE GARANTIE La location saisonnière est destinée à un séjour temporaire dans une maison ou un apparte-ment meublé. Le mobilier et les équipements présents ainsi que les divers objets utiles, mis à disposition des vacanciers par le propriétaire, bénéficient d’un moyen de protection quand il y a dégradation, que l’on appelle le dépôt de garantie. Si aucun dégât n’est constaté après l’état des lieux de sortie, le dépôt de garantie doit être intégralement remboursé dans un délai raisonnable qui doit être précisé dans le contrat.

• L’ETAT DES LIEUX ET REMISE DES CLÉS Un état des lieux d’entrée doit être réalisé lors de la remise des clés (en pratique, le jour de la signa-ture du bail) et joint au contrat de bail. • THE STATE OF THE PROPERTY AND THE HANDING OVER OF KEYS A record of the state of the property must be made and attached to the lease contract on the day the keys are handed over and the lease is signed. This document describes the state of the accommodation and its equipment on the tenant’s arrival. A further description must be made when the tenant leaves and returns the keys. In the event of a dispute, the comparison of these 2 documents makes it possible to de-termine who is responsible.

• SECURITY GUARANTEE Seasonal rentals are intended for temporary stays in a house or furnished apartment.
