LEVEL 4No. 56 SAJAD US-SAHV – FARDH AND WAJIBAT OF SALAHSahu means forgetfulness. If you unintentionally commit a mistake in any part of the salah of Salah then you can rectify this mistake by performing Sajda Sahw (the forgetfulness prostra-tion and the prayer becomes valid. If one does not perform it, s/he has to repeat the prayer. If you commit a mistake which is not included in Wajib acts of the prayer then there is no need to perform forgetfulness prostration but just seek forgiveness from Allah.Rules regarding Sajda Sahw in prayerIf a person intentionally omits a wajib act then the forgetfulness prostration (Sajda Sahw) will not be enouhgh and he has to repeat his/her prayer.Omiting any of the following wajib acts will require sajda sahw:* If you forgot to do the first Tashahhud* If you added an extra Rak’ah* If you doubted how many Rak’ahs you prayed* If you made Salam before completing your prayer, complete your prayer and then make Sujood As-Sahu in the end, and then make Tasleem again.

No. 57 ACTIoN WHICH INVALIDATE THE SALAHThey are as follows: 1 – That which invalidates wudu’, such as breaking wind. 2 – Uncovering the ‘awrah deliberately. But if it is uncovered by accident and what is un-covered is only a little, or if a lot becomes uncovered but he covers it immediately, then the prayer is not invalidated. 3 – Turning away from the qiblah to a large extent. 4 – Presence of najaasah (impurity) on one’s body or clothes, or in the place where one is praying. If he notices it or remembers it during the prayer and removes it immediately, then his prayer is valid. Similarly, if he does not find out about it until after the prayer is over, his prayer is still valid. 5 – Excessive continuous movement during the prayer for no essential reason. 6 –Omitting one of the pillars (essential parts) of the prayer, such as bowing and prostration. 7 – Deliberately doing an extra pillar, such as bowing. 8 – Deliberately doing some pillars before others. 9 – Deliberately saying the salaam before completing the prayer. 10 – Deliberately changing the meaning whilst reciting. 11- Deliberately omitting one of the obligatory parts of prayer, such as the first tashahhud. But if a person forgets, his prayer is valid but he must do the prostration of forgetfulness (sujood al-sahw). 12 – Deciding to stop praying. 13 – Laughing out loud. Merely smiling does not invalidate the prayer. 14 – Deliberately speaking. If one speaks by mistake or out of ignorance of the ruling, the

prayer is not invalidated. 15 –Eating and drinking.

No. 83 SURAH ZILZALAHWhen the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake. And the earth discharges its burdens And man says, “What is [wrong] with it?” - That Day, it will report its news. Because your Lord has commanded it. That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it.And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.

No. 84 SURAH AL BAYYINAHThe deniers of truth from among the People of the Book and the polytheists would not desist from disbelief until they received clear evidence -- (1) a messenger from God, recit-ing to them pure scriptures, (2) containing upright precepts. (3) Those who were given the Book did not become divided except after clear evidence was given to them. (4) They were commanded only to worship God, offering Him sincere devotion, to be sincere in their faith, to pray regularly; and to give alms, for that is the right religion. (5) Those of the deniers of truth among the People of the Book and the polytheists will dwell forever in Hell-fire. They are the worst of creatures. (6) Truly, those who believe and do good works are the best of creatures. (7)

No. 86 SURAH AL ALAQRead! In the name of your Lord, who creat-ed: (1) created man from a clot [of blood]. (2) Read! Your Lord is the Most Bountiful One (3) who taught by the pen, (4) taught man what he did not know. (5) Yet man behaves arrogantly, (6) because he thinks himself self-sufficient: (7) truly, all will return to your Lord. (8) Have you seen one who prevents (9) a worshipper from praying? (10) Do you think he is rightly guided, (11) or enjoins true piety? (12) Do you see how he has denied the truth and turned away from it? (13) Does he not know that God observes all things? (14) Let him beware! If he does not desist, We will drag him by the forelock -- (15) his lying, sinful forelock. (16) Then let him call his associates; (17) We shall summon the guards of Hell. (18) No indeed! Do not obey him, but prostrate yourself and come closer to God. (19)

And the Hereaf-ter is better for you than the first [life]. And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? And He found you lost and guided [you], And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. No. 97 SURAH AL-LAYLBy the night as it veils [the earth] in dark-ness, (1) and by the day as it appears radi-antly, (2) and by the creation of the male and the female. (3) O men, you truly strive to-wards the most diverse ends! (4) As for one who gives [to others] and fears [God], (5) and believes in the truth of what is right, (6) We will pave his way to ease. (7) But as for one who is miserly and unheeding, (8) and rejects what is right, (9) We shall pave his way to hardship, (10) nor will his wealth profit him when he falls [into the pit]. (11) Surely, it is for Us to provide guidance -- (12) and to Us belongs the Hereafter as well as the present world -- (13) I have warned you then about a raging Fire: (14).

(16) One who fears God shall be kept away from it -- (17) one who gives his wealth to become purified, (18) and owes no favour to anyone, which is to be repaid, (19) acting only for the sake of his Lord the Most High -- (20) and before long he will be well satisfied. (8) He who purifies it will indeed be successful, (9) and he who corrupts it is sure to fail. (10) The Thamud tribe rejected the truth because of their arrogance, (11) when the most wicked man among them rose up. (12) Then the messenger of God said to them, “This is God’s she-camel. Let her drink.” (13) But they gave him the lie, and hamstrung the she-camel. So their Lord destroyed them for their crime and razed their city to the ground. (14) He did not fear the consequenc-es.
