The art of aging and mixing our Cognacs demands the greatest attention to detail and vast know-how.

Pierre Lecat’s Cognacs are created by a new generation who have combined their passion, consistency and precision with an inherited a

treasure of knowledge to create a work of art.

The rich flavors and aromas of our Cognacs are the result of an expert construction, which is slowly developed over the years in

cool dark cellars.

Our values come from the art of craftmanship. We pamper our terroir and we cultivate our traditions. We inherit them, pass them on,

we grow them and, above all, we share them.

Our vines grow on the historical terroirs of Cognac. They give birth to wines that will be selected and distilled according to their characters, to

obtain a budding eau-de- vie which is perfectly adapted to aging. Their cradle, an oak tree barrel from Limousin.

PATIENCE: THE ART OF TIMING

Timing is everything. In order to have the best maturation possible, it is essential to wait for the right moment. Both Cognac and watchmaking

require patience; time can be counted in years, even decades.

During a long period in casks, our Cognacs acquire the wood components that give them their characteristic golden, amber and

mahogany color.

Over time, delicate oak wood and vanilla notes develop to further enhance the aromas and flavors. Finally, with evaporation, traditionally called “the angel’s share”, the Cognac becomes concentrated into a work

of art for the connoisseur’s nose and the palate.

Our different Cognacs are carefully assembled throughout this aging process to create the ultimate result Pierre Lecat is proud of today.

DESCRIPTION:Beautiful golden color. Crystal like.

NOSE:Very pleasant sweet smell.Delicate vanilla oak touch from Limousin oak.Flowery scents of rose and vine flower.Fruity: pear and apricot.

PALATE:Mellow on the palate. Pleasant notes of fruit pastry. Lingering and warm.

Enjoy neat or on the rocks.

DESCRIPTION:Remarquable amber and golden colour. Brilliant hue.

NOSE:Attractive sweet smell. Noticeable vanilla oak aroma. Flowery scents: rose and violet.Fruity: apricot jam and orange marmelade.Delicate touches of port wine and hazel nut.Liquorice in the finish.

PALATE:Very mellow on the palate. Good equilibrium between taste and aroma. Warm and long finish during several minutes. Already very matured.

NOSE:Very smooth aromas.Flowery like jasmine and honeysuckle. Delicate touches of porto wine and walnut.Vanilla oak, chocolate powder. Light spicy aromas like curry and saffron. Candied fruits: orange, pear, apricot.Candied ginger in the finish.

PALATE:Velvety on the palate. Perfect harmony between taste and aroma. Great maturity and concentration. Warm on the palate. The finish lasts 10 minutes. May the best XO cognac on the market. Well-appreciated XO Cognac without being a connoisseur.
