Français!!• Ma région s’appelle Champagne-Ardenne.

C’est sans le nord-l’est France. Il y a un frontier avec Belgique. La capitale est Châlons-en-Champagne. La géographie est calcaire et acide. Champagne a trés rivièr et trés trés forêt. Champagne a beaucoup l’hôtels et museés. À Champagne, tu peux jouer au golf ou voir un film. Champagne est célèbre pour c’est fromage, saucisse, chou, et jambon.

History• Settled by Gauls in 500 BC – Then called Lower-Belgium

• Louis VII won a war,– Resulted in the Conquest of Champagne

• 12 & 13 centuries, was known for its commercial fair, people from all over Europe attended.

• Capital then became Troyes.• 1314—Count of Champagne inherited the region– He became Louis X, Champagne became official province

of France.

History of Reims• City of Reims is very historical– Clovis I, founder of Frankish

Kingdom was baptized in 496 AD– Reims became site of French

Coronations– 816-1825, 25 kings were

crowned here– Near here, Napoleon won last

victory, and was in the school room that Germans surrendered to American ending WWII.

France.• Known for it’s forests of beech & fir trees– Also known for it’s game
