L’Alsace Bossue se situe en partie dans le parc naturel régional des Vosges du nord.Le territoire du parc, à cheval sur l’Alsace et la Lorraine, a également été labellisé «Réserve de Biosphère» par l’UNESCO en 1989.Le parc offre de nombreuses possibilités de randonnées et de balades à vélo. Un « test center », à l’Office de tourisme du Pays de Bitche, permet aux randonneurs d’emprunter gratuitement du matériel de randonnée, chaussures, vêtements, jumelles, porte-bébé,… La démarche du parc naturel régional a été récompensée par le prix d’excellence des destinations touristiques au concours européens EDEN sur le thème « Tourisme et Espaces protégés ».

Une exposition multimédia aménagée dans le château (XIIIe-XVIIIe siècle) « L’Aventure des Vosges du Nord » à la maison du parc vous permet de découvrir les richesses et les enjeux de ce territoire.

Das zum Teil im Naturpark gelegene Krumme Elsass, mit Erhebungen von 250 bis 400 m, verbindet das Sandstein-Waldgebiet mit der lothringischen Ebene. Entdecken Sie die Schätze dieser Gegend in der Ausstellung „L’aventure des Vosges du Nord“ im Haus des Naturparks (Schloss von La Petite Pierre, 13. Jh. / 18. Jh.)

Created in 1975, the Northern Vosges Regional Park links the two regions of Alsace and Lorraine and takes in the eastern part of the Vosges. Part of Alsace Bossue is located in the Northern Vosges Regional Park.In the multimedia exhibit, The Adventure of the Northern Vosges housed in the Park’s exhibition centre within the castle in La Petite Pierre, visitors can discover more about this region and the Park.

Emblème de l’Alsace Bossue, cette chapelle est l’un des lieux à ne pas manquer en Alsace Bossue. Profitez de l’atmosphère de quiétude qui règne sur place pour vous ressourcer. Point de départ de balades.

Accès libre toute l’année. Permanence sur le site tous les jours (sauf samedi) du 1er mai à fin octobre à partir de 15h30. Buvette sur place.

Anlage ganzjährig zugänglich. Öffnungszeiten: jeden Tag vom 1. Mai bis Ende Oktober ab 15.30 Uhr. (Samstag geschlossen). Wanderweg ab dem Kirchberg. Getränke in der Gaststätte zu den Öffnungzeiten.

Installée dans les dépendances du château de Lorentzen, la Grange aux paysages est un centre d’éducation à la nature et à l’environnement qui propose de nombreux projets et animations en lien avec la nature, l’environnement et la culture. Ces projets s’adressent aussi bien aux enfants qu’aux groupes d’adultes notamment via la proposition de sorties natures/conférences, de festivals, de visites de fermes. L’exposition « Secrets de Paysages » présentant les caractéristiques du paysage d’Alsace Bossue est accessible librement (voir page 4). Espace d’hébergement pour groupes.

The "Grange aux paysages" offers a wide range of activities which allow visitors to study the local landscape and how human beings affect it. L’espace extérieur, le « Holtzplatz », permet de découvrir les différentes étapes depuis l’abattage de l’arbre jusqu’au morceau de bois grossièrement façonné, prêt à être transformé en sabots. Le musée lui-même présente de manière sensorielle et interactive les fabrications manuelle et mécanisée du sabot. Une importante collection de sabots de différentes origines est exposée.

Situé sur une boucle de navigation reliant le Luxembourg, l’Allemagne et la France (de 15 jours environ), le port de Harskirchen/Bissert est la première porte d’entrée alsacienne de cet itinéraire. Ce site est idéal pour un arrêt dans un environnement calme et verdoyant. De nombreux services et équipements sont disponibles sur place (pontons d’amarrage, bornes d’alimentation eau et électricité, pompe d’aspiration eaux usées, aire de pique-nique, sanitaires, douches, laverie, WIFI, aire de service pour campings-cars).

Restaurants à proximité (service de navette possible).

Harskirchen Marina is on the Sarre Canal which was originally used to transport coal from local mines.
