A GARDEN OF ECOLOGICALVOLUMES

These drawings were proposed for an international competition on a large site of Athen (Greece). The concept of the project consist to organize one harmonius environment made of gardens and volumes. The different types of buildings (museum, library, exhibits halls, offices and restaurants) seem to float above gardens between trees. This project is a relevant theme of our architectural work. Each activitie and function is expressed in a singular free volume : Presidential archives storage, Museum, Research Center, Educational Center, Meditation and Sports equipments, Healthy Dining Rooms, Presidential Suite, Offices. Footbridges walk architectural form an air network through the trees of the gardens. A steel frame structure support the black, white and green volumes in a way inspired by Sullivan, Wright and Bruce Graham.
